About the Rocky Mountain Chapter

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (RMC-SCBWI) is a volunteer organization serving members in Wyoming and Colorado, continuing after twenty-five years to be a beacon for all who are interested in children's literature.

Our chapter is a vibrant and growing one, with over 550 members. We have approximately 450 writers and 100 illustrators, with around 370 associate members and 194 full members. Many of our members are award-winners, both locally and nationally. If you are in our region and are not a member, we hope you will consider joining us.
