Kite Tales is the newsletter of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of SCBWI. It contains information about conferences, market updates, articles and good news shared by members.

For those RMC-SCBWI members with limited or no Internet access, Kite Tales is available via regular mail. If you are not a member of SCBWI or are out of state and would like a paper copy mailed to you, you may receive it for a fee. Please contact our Member Liaison for more information.

Requests for Flying High News for the next issue of Kite Tales will be announced the RMC-SCBWI listserv. Flying High news is RMC-SCBWI member good news such as:

  • publications (book, story, etc)
  • sales/contracts/signing with an agent
  • contest wins and awards
  • completion of programs (MFA, illustration programs)
  • launch of a new website, blog, podcast, etc
  • radio/tv/webcast appearances
